The VI International Conference on Geocryology is held in order to present the latest results and to coordinate scientific research, discuss the experience of research, design, construction and buildings and engineering structures operations on permafrost, determine priorities and develop a joint action plan for government, science and business in area of monitoring and studies of cryosphere in Russia.
